Yes, you can use certain levels of used vegetable oils to a degree.

The ‘Circle Biodiesel Processor’ can handle a free fatty acid level of < 2.5%.
Can the ‘Circle Biodiesel Processor’ handle various types of vegetable oil fatty acid content levels?
Yes, the ‘Circle Biodiesel Processor’ can handle various feedstock types and slight variations in fatty acid levels up to 2.5% or less.
Do you sell algae harvesters and expellers (machines that collect and press algae oil)?
Yes, the machine named the ‘Circle Algae Harvester and Separator’ is in the patent application process and will be unveiled for public viewing on March 15, 2008.
Does your ‘Circle Biodiesel Processor’ come with a centrifuge as part of the package?
Yes it does. It also comes with the filtration machinery.
Do you sell centrifuges?
Yes we sell extra centrifuges.
Do you sell generators?
No, currently we do not.
What is ‘water washing’ and does your biodiesel processor use water?
‘Water washing’ is the act of using water to clean biodiesel. It is not a preferred method as it makes for a situation of spill prevention and/or contamination issues. The Circle Biodiesel Processor is a WATERLESS processor.
Is the ‘Circle Biodiesel Processor’ automated?
Yes. The ‘Circle Biodiesel Processor’ is fully automated. It will run in consecutive 3 hour and 45 minute shifts until the operator shuts the processor down.
How many people are needed to run the Circle Biodiesel Processor?
One person is needed to run the processor. In fact one person can run up to four linked ‘Circle Biodiesel Processors’ at one time. Another person is often needed on site for legal purposes and safety issues.
What is the batch size of the Circle Biodiesel Processor?
It produces 450 gallons of biodiesel in 3 hours and 45 minutes. This works out to two (2) gallons per minute.
How many hours per batch does the Circle Biodiesel Processor take per shift to produce 450 gallons of biodiesel?
Our process time is 3 hours and 45 minutes. Final filtration and any necessary further processing of glycerine will take longer and are on different machines. The final filtering and polishing machine comes with the purchase of the biodiesel processor.
Do you have a warranty your machines?
Yes. Our machines have a one year warranty on all parts.
